Irish soul with a transatlantic flavour and a touch of Eastern spice – raw, bare and beautiful – down and dirty – whether you are falling, crawling, walking, running or just standing still, come inside and enjoy the vibe – ladies and gentlemen – this is ‘bone’. ‘bone’ are a two piece Kilkenny based band, Mike Ryan and Geri Doyle Ryan.

As recording artistes both Mike and Geri have recorded with different labels in the past, Mike with EMI Records when lead singer with Tuesday Blue and Geri and Mike with Island Records and Blackmarket Records. Most recently doing independent recording. ‘bone’ have been together 12 years, playing with various guest musicians along the way.

Now performing stripped down with just the two of them, their sound swings from raw, bare and beautiful to down and dirty , described recently as ‘an audio road trip’. Over the years together, ‘bone’ have lived and played/toured in USA/New York, London and Dublin, including the Electric Picnic Festival, Oxygen Festival, a long running residency in Cleere’s Theatre, Kilkenny.
