In 2012, after walking London’s charter’d streets, four people came together to form Cats On The Beach. Their work has already attracted the attention of PR giants Playground, producer Paul Tipler (Idlewild, 80s Matchbox) and Sentric Publishing, as well giving them a place under the wing of music charity Strummerville.
Expect songs about love, drinking, irony and anxiety driven along by neck snapping beats, poetic lyrics and explosive guitars. Expect other songs about religion, racism, rented rooms and nighttime carried along by slow grooves, poetic lyrics and warm gentle guitars. All in all, Cats On The Beach are the right kind of mixed bag.
