From the coldest reaches of Southend On Sea, ChavTownBand were born out of boredom frustration and a need to breakaway from the rat race and clear our own path. We started out individually playing in various local bands, playing a host of different styles and enjoying some success before forming what we have now. We play a blend of Folk Blues and Indie thatís hard to pin down and put a name to. We like to think of our music as being a modern take on everything that has influenced us all individually, blended together.
