Strummerville Take Over The Station Sessions Festival
The Station Sessions Festival is a six week long celebration of the UK’s emerging musical talent for a takeover of Kings Cross Station, with bands playing for free to London’s commuters.
In proud support of Prince’s Trust Music, the festival will run from the 15th of June to the 29th of July and will feature some of the most talked about emerging artists spanning genres from pop, rock and blues to classical and soul.
On Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th of July, following a storming Glastonbury, Strummerville will take over the Station Sessions. Featuring Live performances from The Joker and The Thief, The Barker Band, The Riff Raff and the hotly tipped Bastille – here are the times
4th July:

Its the night before Good Friday, one of the best nights of the year to throw a party and when Strummerville will present the charity’s new crop of new talent sharing a stage with Frank Turner, who will celebrate his 1000th ever live show.
Our bi-annual showcases are always real highlights for us and its exciting presenting some of the broad spectrum of the talent we have been helping. Having Frank give us this support is really special for everyone involved, its artists like Frank that make us all keep believing.
Growing out of its West London base, the Strummerville Spring Sessions goes to East London to take-over Hearn Street’s Carpark on Thursday April 21st (Easter Thursday) from 8pm until 6am.

Clarks Originals, Clash & Strummerville bands review…
Five of our brilliant DIY bands – The Supernovas, The Joker and the Thief, The Riff Raff, Nimmo and the Gauntletts and Real Fur all played a series of exclusive in-store pop-up gigs at the Clarks Originals store at 101 Regents Street between February 15th-20th 2011.
Clash brought in five unique talents to the table – Pete and the Pirates, Summer Camp, Fyfe Dangerfield from the Guillemots, Cloud Control and The Pierces.
There was also an exclusive one off event featuring Guillemots, The Supernovas and The Pierces played a show on 17th of February at London’s Bath House, Liverpool St.

A Host Of Strummerville Bands To Take Over Regent Street
Clarks role within the history of music comes alive once more with bands playing at their pop-up shop at 101 Regents Street, London.
Clash has teamed up with Strummerville to bring the following unique, live and originals sets at 1pm and 6pm across five days of the project.
The shop will sell limited edition collaborations for SS11, including collaborations from Millerain and Laura Ashley. There is also a limited edition Festival Boot collaboration that comes in the Desert Boot, Wallabee and Natalie styles. £2 from every pair sold will be donated to Strummerville.
