Annie and Tom Gardiner are a sister-brother duo who grew up in the picturesque environs of Llandeilo, South Wales, and are now based in the English cities of Bath and Bristol.

The Hysterical Injury are a noisy, melodic two-piece – Annie Gardiner plays bass and sings, and brother Tom hammers the drums.

The interim period has seen over 200 gigs and two EPs, attracting attention and praise from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Gill Mills, Bethan Elfyn, Adam Walton, Paul Artrocker and many more.

The band are set apart by their marriage of crystal-sweet vocal melodies with boiling cauldrons of noise.
