The Kingcrows are part of the northern underground punk scene, based in Leeds and after spending 5 years together have crafted a fast, tight powerful arsenal of songs through intensive live gigging. The emphasis has always been on creating “a great powerful ‘live’ show” – The Kingcrows have achieved this and have gone from strength to strength winning glowing and in-depth reviews and a unanimously positive reaction.
The latest DIY release EP “Up Before The Beak” has produced a strong song writing collaboration and joins the previous EP’s “A Murder Most Foul” and “Magdalene”.
Bringing together various influences and genres within the band – the package is now complete, make your own mind up as to where they truly sit – the idea was to create something that doesn’t quite conform to the norm but does complement what has gone before – all this is delivered in a neat 3 minute package of guitar driven punk rock “n” roll, wrapped tightly up with passionate charged vocals interlaced with powerful backing melodies and anthems.
